Doral City, incorporated on June 24, 2003, in one of thirty-four municipalities in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Conveniently located just one mile from Miami International Airport and twelve miles from Downtown Miami, is one of the most outgrowing cities in Miami-Dade County, with 8 new projects on the way for the upcoming years and home for aproximately 46,000 resident. It takes its name from the famous golf and spa resort located within its municipal boundaries. The Doral Golf Resort & Spa was originally built by Doris and Alfred Kaskel, who coined "Doral" by combining their names.
